RUIZ, Associate Judge:

Vanessa Agnew appeals her conviction of unauthorized use of a vehicle (UUV), in violation of D.C.Code § 22-3815 (recodi-fied as D.C.Code § 22-3215 (2001)), contending that the government’s evidence was insufficient. 1 We hold that the evi dence was insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that use of the vehicle in question was unauthorized or that appellant knew that the vehicle was being used without the consent of the owner. .Thus, we reverse appellant’s conviction.
