WAHL, Justice.

The school board of Independent School District No. 442 at Oslo, Minnesota discharged their high school principal of 17 years, Derrill Liffrig, pursuant to proceedings under Minn. Stat. § 125.12, subd. 8, for “immoral conduct” and “conduct unbecoming a principal.” The Marshall County District Court reviewed the board’s findings and order by writ of certiorari and affirmed, although finding the result harsh.
