Plaintiff, Los Angeles Police Protective League, appeals from an order denying its petition to compel arbitration (Code Civ. Proc., § 1281.2) of a grievance arising from the suspension of a police officer.

The verified petition alleged: Plaintiff is the duly authorized and recognized bargaining agent for sworn police officers below the rank of lieutenant employed by defendant City of Los Angeles.
