Appellant, Silvio Bosco Luna, appeals from the trial court’s order denying his application for writ of habeas corpus. He contends that his trial counsel failed to advise him of the immigration consequences of his guilty plea to an underlying theft offense and that, but for this ineffective assistance, he would have foregone the plea agreement and chosen instead to proceed to trial.
