OPINION

JOHN DONOVAN, Justice.

Appellant, Pablo Jose Roldan, appeals a judgment denying his post-conviction application for writ of habeas corpus on the ground he received ineffective assistance of counsel. We affirm.

I. Background

In March 2005, appellant, a resident alien, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea bargain, to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, namely cocaine, in an amount more than four grams but less than 200 grams.
