Staff Sergeant Kim H. Carruthers was charged with one specification of conspiracy and multiple specifications of larceny of military property in violation of Articles 81 and 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 881, 921 (2000). Carruthers entered pleas of not guilty to the charges but was convicted by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members.
