This case arises out of a subpoena duces tecum served upon the relator, Donald Creighton, Ph.D., by Weiler and Co., Inc., a defendant in a products liability action brought in Buchanan County by Bradley C. Hurd. Dr. Creighton, a professional engineer, was designated as an expert witness by plaintiff to provide expert testimony in the field of mechanical engineering.
