Williamsport Education Association (Association) appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Lycoming County (trial court), which granted the petition of the Williamsport Area School District (District) to vacate an arbitration award sustaining the grievance filed by the Association. The arbitration panel concluded that the parties intended the “maintenance of standards” clause contained in their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to apply to the dispute in question.
