The National Labor Relations Board (the “Board”) petitions this court pursuant to section 10(e) of the National Labor Relations Act (the “Act”), 29 U.S.C. § 160(e), for enforcement of its order issued against Charles Batehelder Company, Inc. (the “Company”) on June 25, 1980.1 The sole issue is whether the record contains substantial evidence to support the Board’s findings: (1) that the Company violated sections 8(a)(1) and (3) of the Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 158(a)(1), (3), by discharging one of its employees and by refusing to rehire another and (2) that the Company…
