Defendant and another were indicted by the grand jury of Hennepin county charged with the crime of robbery in the first degree. Defendant was tried separately in the district court for that county before Molyneaux, J., and a jury, and found guilty as charged in the indictment. From an order denying his motion for a new trial, defendant appealed.

An indictment was returned against the defendant and one Connors, charging them with the cripie of robbery. Defendant was tried separately and convicted. A motion for a new trial was made and denied and he appeals from the order denying his motion.
