OPINION

GOULD, Judge.

¶ 1 This opinion answers the question of whether a defendant can be convicted of multiple independent lesser-included offenses of a greater charged offense.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

¶2 On the night of December 30, 2012, Florentino Josué Millan Erivez (“Erivez”) and his co-defendants, Federico Rodriguez and Alfonso Quiroz Villalobos, forced their way into the home of victim Martha B.
