FINCH, P. J.—The

plaintiff was given judgment and the defendant has appealed therefrom.

The complaint alleges that on or about the twelfth day of May, 1923, the plaintiff and the board of trustees of the defendant district “entered into an agreement whereby plaintiff was employed as principal in the said Mantón Joint Union School District at a salary of two thousand dollars per year payable as follows: $200 per month for ten months beginning such payments on October 3rd, 1923; . . . that pursuant to said agreement plaintiff performed the duties of principal of said Mantón Joint Union School…
