FRYE, Judge:

The matter before the court is the motion of defendant Arden Engineering (Arden) to dismiss the claims against it as barred by the statute of limitations (# 58).

BACKGROUND

This is a products liability case stemming from a helicopter crash which occurred on January 16,1986, and which resulted in the death of the pilot, Russell Leroy Cruse. The plaintiffs are Western Helicopters, Inc. (Western), an Oregon corporation which employed Russell Leroy Cruse, and Edwina Marie Cruse, the Personal Representative of the Estate of Russell Leroy Cruse (the estate). Western seeks damages…
