This is an appeal from the final judgment of the County Court of Grand Forks County upon the conviction of the defendant, Rodger Loyland, of the crime of aggravated reckless driving and from the order of that court denying the defendant’s motion for a new trial. The judgment was based upon a verdict of guilty rendered by the jury. It provided that the defendant should be imprisoned in the county jail for a term of six months, that he should pay a fine of $500 and costs of $500, and that in default of the payment of said fine and costs, he should be imprisoned in the county…
