This is an action of tort 1 to recover damages for personal injuries, including pain and suffering, alleged by the plaintiff to be the result of the defendant’s negligence as she attempted to board a bus owned and operated by the defendant. The case was originally tried in the Municipal Court of the City of Boston, resulting in a finding for the plaintiff which included damages for pain and suffering.
