On February 24th, 1920, Helen Hartley Jenkins entered into a trust agreement whereby she transferred a large amount of property to be held in trust. The agreement, to which we shall refer as the first agreement, stated the purpose to be to create a trust for the benefit of her daughter, Grace Hartley Jenkins, who was to receive the net income of the property, and should she be alive at the termination of the trust, which was to be at the end of fifteen years, the principal.
