Plaintiff Joan Chason Alford was fired from her job as a stockbroker with defendant Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. She sued Dean Witter for a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e to 2000e-17. Last year, we issued a decision, 905 F.2d 104 (5th Cir.1990), affirming the district court’s refusal to dismiss the ease or compel arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), 9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16.
