MATTHEWS, Justice.

I, INTRODUCTION

Joyee Lopez appeals the Public Employees' Retirement Board's denial of her claim for occupational disability benefits. Lopez argues that the Board's decision was not supported by substantial evidence, that the Board applied the incorrect legal standard to its factual findings, that the Board improperly excluded Lopez's compromise agreement with the State from evidence, and that the Board improperly failed to take judicial no tice of the past testimony in other cases of one of Lopez's examining physicians.
