Staff Sergeant Christopher A. Barberi was charged with two specifications of sodomy in violation of Article 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 925 (2006), and three specifications alleging violations of Article 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 934 (2006): creating child pornography, possessing child pornography, and indecent acts. Prior to trial one of the sodomy specifications was dismissed, as were the Article 134 specifications alleging the creation of child pornography and indecent acts.
