This is an interlocutory appeal pursuant to C.A.R. 4.1. The People challenge a trial court order suppressing cocaine obtained during a search of defendant Barney Save-dra’s truck. The search took place shortly after Savedra had been arrested. The trial court determined that the passenger compartment of the truck was not within Save-dra’s immediate control at the time of the arrest, and therefore, suppressed the cocaine.
