This is a proceeding begun in the county conrt of Cook county by appellee, to contest the election of appellant to the office of supervisor of the town of North Chicago. At the general election held April 3, 1900, in the town of North Chicago, for the election of town officers, the parties were opposing candidates for the office of supervisor of said town, their names appearing upon the official ballot as nominees of the republican and democratic parties, respectively.
