The plaintiffs, ten employees of the Boston *110school committee, appeal from an adverse Superior Court judgment that affirmed the decisions of the Contributory Retirement Appeal Board (CRAB) denying them interest payments on pension contributions improperly deducted from their wages.3 In each case the defendant, Boston retirement board (board), discovered the error, corrected it by informing the committee and the city treasurer of the proper deduction, and refunded the excess.
