Plaintiffs, father and mother of Helen Amy Waldorf, deceased, brought this action against the City of Alhambra for damages alleged to have resulted from the death of their daughter which was caused by a collision between the automobile in which she was riding in the night-time, with a pole in the parkway of a city street near its intersection with another street in the City of Alhambra.
