¶ 1. Ricky McMorris appeals from a judgment convicting him of being a felon in possession of a firearm as a repeater. He also appeals from an order denying his multiple motions for post conviction relief. McMorris, who faced two felony charges but was convicted on just one, alleges several errors occurred in the circuit court. He contends that he was denied his constitutional right to his counsel of choice when the circuit court refused to adjourn a motion hearing and a trial date in order for his new attorney to prepare.
