A jury convicted applicant of possession of a controlled substance, methamphet amine, in the amount of 200 grams or more, but less than 400 grams. The jury assessed a sentence of life imprisonment. On appeal, the Twelfth Court of Appeals affirmed applicant’s conviction and sentence. Applicant now seeks habeas corpus relief.
