[¶ 1] Timothy Lever appeals from a summary judgment in favor of Acadia Hospital Corporation and three other defendants 1 entered in the Superior Court (Penobscot County, Mead, J.) determining that the defendants are immune from suit under the Maine Tort Claims Act, 14 M.R.S.A. §§ 8101-8118 (2003). Lever asserts that the trial court incorrectly found that the purpose of his evaluation by Aca dia was to determine eligibility for involuntary commitment, a necessary prerequisite to generate immunity under the Maine Tort Claims Act.
