FOLLAND, Justice.

This is an action by plaintiff to foreclose and bar the defendant’s “equity of redemption” in certain real property located in Cache county, Utah. The complaint alleges that a former action had been brought July 28, 1928, by plaintiff against Jeff Stowell and wife, David W. West and wife, Minnie Croft, Ida Burge, and one other for the foreclosure of a mortgage given by the Stowells and Wests to secure payment of a promissory note for $650 payable to plaintiff January 15, 1927; that Stowell and wife on May 18, 1922, conveyed the property to West, and on January 15, 1924,…
