MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
TRAGER, District Judge.
Plaintiff Nikitas Amorgianos (“Mr. Amorgianos”) brought this action against the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (“Amtrak”) for personal injuries allegedly suffered as a result of workplace exposure to xylene. Plaintiff Donna Amorgianos (“Mrs. Amorgianos”), his wife, joined in the action, claiming loss of consortium and services. After a jury trial and a verdict rendered in favor of plaintiffs, Amtrak moved for a judgment as a matter of law or, in the alternative, for a new trial.
