Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Rensselaer County (Sheridan, J.), rendered May 19, 1995, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crimes of assault in the second degree (two counts), unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.
In a six-count indictment, defendant was charged with, inter alia, assault in the second degree in violation of Penal Law § 120.05 (1) (count 3) and assault in the second degree in violation of Penal Law § 120.05 (2) (count 4).
