Barbara Bucquet, her husband Howard, and their children, who are the beneficiaries of an inter vivos trust, brought this action for legal malpractice against David Livingston, 1 an attorney who drafted the trust instrument for the settlors, Barbara’s parents, for the purpose of minimizing all taxes payable on the death of both.
