A jury found the defendant, Matthew Steven Johnson, guilty of three counts of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a. The trial court rendered judgments in accordance with the jury ver dicts, 2 and the defendant appealed to this court pursuant to General Statutes § 51-199 (b) (3).
