After a jury trial in three consolidated cases, the defendant, Sushil Gupta, was convicted in two cases of sexual assault in the fourth degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-73a (a) (5),1 sexual contact by means of a false representation by a health care professional that the sexual contact is for a bona fide medical purpose.
