MOORE, Circuit Judge.
Plaintiff-Appellant, Dawn Rannals (“Rannals”), filed this lawsuit against her employer, Defendant Appellee, Diamond Jo Casino (“Diamond Jo”), asserting a claim under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. § 688, based upon an injury she suffered while attending a firefighting training program in Toledo, Ohio.1 The district court granted summary judgment in favor of Diamond Jo on Rannals’s Jones Act claim, holding that Rannals had failed to create a genuine issue of material fact regarding whether her injuries were…
