The exceptions filed by the defendants, Willis N. Gregory and the Davison Chemical Company, to the findings of fact set out in the report of the referee in this action, and also in his reports in the other actions pending in the Superior Court of Pasquotank County against these defendants, were chiefly on the ground that there was no evidence at the hearing of said actions by the referee to support said findings of fact. These exceptions were without merit, and were properly overruled by Judge Grady. There was ample evidence, as the learned and careful judge found, to support these, as well…
