OPINION

GUADALUPE RIVERA, Justice.

S.S.appeals the trial court’s dismissal of her petition to establish A.P.’s parentage. In her sole point of error, she contends that the trial court erred by granting A.P.’s special appearance. We affirm.

BACKGROUND

In her petition to establish A.P.’s parentage, S.S. asserted the trial court had exclusive jurisdiction of the suit based on prior proceedings. The petition, however, did not state what those prior proceedings were. In response, A.P. filed a special appearance, noting he was a nonresident of Texas.
