On May 7, 1985, Joe A., a minor (appellant), admitted two allegations of petty theft pursuant to a plea bargain. The juvenile court found that appellant came within the provisions of Welfare and Institutions Code section 602. Appellant was placed on probation conditioned, among other things, upon his completing 80 hours in the juvenile court work program by August 1, 1985, and his attending the July 24, 1985, theft awareness class.
