This is an appeal by the defendant from a money judgment against him. The following facts appear without dispute:' The defendant and two men by the name of Pike were stockholders and officers of a corporation known as the Pike Woolen Company, and the defendant and one of the Pikes executed to the plaintiffs a joint guaranty of any indebtedness that the Woolen Company might incur to them. The Woolen Company did incur such an indebtedness in the sum of $4,436.81.
