Petitioners seek compensation under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (“Vaccine Act”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 300aa-l to -34 (2006), alleging that their son, Colten, developed a pervasive developmental disorder caused by a combination of thimerosal-containing vaccines and the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (“MMR”) vaccine.
