On July 6,1983, Mrs. Faye Kaleo (hereinafter referred to as “Kaleo”) confronted her neighbor, Mr. Joseph Poomaihealani, Jr. (hereinafter referred to as “Poomaihealani”), regarding the conduct of Poomaihealani’s son. Kaleo crossed into Poomaihealani’s yard, bumped him, pointed, shook her hand in his face and began yelling at him.
