• This is a contest between children of a common father but of different mothers, in regard to the title to certain real estate in the city of Chicago. Philip Larmon was twice married. The defendants are the children of his first and the complainants of his last marriage. His last wife, Louisa Larmon, the mother of the complainants, owned the property in controversy in her own right, free from the control of her husband, and her title thereto was established by decree of court, in a suit to which he was a party,—and that, too, largely upon his testimony.
