A.C. v. Bellingham School District
Court of Appeals of Washington
1Opinion of the Court
*515¶1 — A.C. appeals the jury verdict in favor of the Bellingham School District. She first argues that the trial court abused its discretion when it declined to instruct the jury on res ipsa loquitur. A.C. next contends that the trial court abused its discretion when it denied her motion for a new trial based on the District’s misconduct during closing argument. Lastly, she maintains that substantial evidence did not support the special verdict. The District cross-appeals, arguing that the trial court erred when it denied its motion for judgment as a matter of law.
