The accused was tried by a general court-martial on charges alleging larceny and four separate offenses of forgery, in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Articles 121 and 123, 50 USC §§ 715 and 717, respectively. He pleaded guilty to the counts of forgery and not guilty to the larceny, but was convicted on all specifications. He was sentenced to dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement for twenty years.
