Plaintiff West American Insurance Co. (“West American”), as subrogee of Chuck’s Southern Comforts Café, Inc. (“the Café”), brought this negligence action against defendants Trent Roofing and Construction (“Trent Roofing”), Ray Eller (“Eller”), and A-Narco Roofing Co., Inc. (“A-Narco”) for damages resulting from a fire. Intervening plaintiff Hartford Casualty Insurance Co. (“Hartford”) intervened on behalf of Syed Shareef (“Shareef’).
