This shareholder class action arises out of the investment of Grand Casino, Inc. (“Grand”) in a project known as Stratosphere, a Las Vegas attraction containing a casino, hotel, and entertainment complex. Plaintiffs seek to represent a class consisting of all persons (except defendants) who purchased Grand common stock during the period from December 19, 1995 through July 22, 1996.
