OPINION

BRUGGINK, Judge.

Pending in this request for disability retirement from the Air Force are the parties’ renewed cross-motions pursuant to Rule 52.1 *156of the Rules of the United States Court of Federal Claims (“RCFC”) for judgment on the administrative record. The renewed cross-motions were triggered by the court’s grant, in part, of plaintiffs motion for reconsideration of our decision previously granting judgment on the record for defendant.
