PALMER, J.

In this wrongful death action, the plaintiffs, 1 surviving spouses and representatives of the estates of sixty-one decedents, appeal from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendants, United Technologies Corporation and several of its corporate officers, 2 on the ground that the plaintiffs’ action is time barred under General Statutes § 52-555. 3 We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
