MEMORANDUM OF OPINION AND ORDER DENYING DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

WELLS, District Judge.

On 19 November 1999, defendant Ford Motor Company (“Ford”) filed a motion for summary judgment. This Court referred the case to United States Magistrate Judge Nancy Vecchiarelli for a report and recommendation (“R & R”) on the motion for summary judgment. On 23 March 2001, the Magistrate Judge in her R & R recommended that the motion for summary judgment be denied. Ford timely filed objections to the R & R.
