This appeal follows an unsuccessful attempt by the appellant to recover lands lost for nonpayment of taxes. Two causes were consolidated in the chancery court.
From the abstract and briefs—and by exploring the transcript—we learn that in two complaints filed in the chancery court on October 1, 1943, plaintiff alleged that he was the owner of certain lands in Sevier county; and that the lands had forfeited to the State for the nonpayment of taxes for the year 1937; and that the defendants had acquired deeds from the State based on the said forfeitures ; and that the sales to the State were void…
