The plaintiffs brought their action in re-plevin in the district court of Payne county, to recover the possession of a stock of goods, of which, in their original petition, they alleged they were the owners, and of which they were unlawfully and wrongfully deprived of the possession by the defendants. In their amended petition they allege their right of possession of the stock under a chattel mortgage, given by the defendants to secure a promissory note given by them to the plaintiffs.
