PARKER, Justice.

Wausau Development Corporation (‘WDC”) appeals a judgment entered by the Lamar Circuit Court (“the circuit court”) in favor of Natural Gas & Oil, Inc. (“NGO”). We reverse the circuit court’s judgment.

Facts and Procedural History

On March 19, 2012, NGO filed a complaint seeking a judgment determining the validity of certain oil and gas leases held by WDC to particular wells located in Lamar County (“the wells”).
